Normally, when somebody wants to get a mobile SIM, he or she would register it in his or her name. Sometimes, if somebody wants to hide his identity, he would use a fictitious name while obtaining the SIM.
So, when we get a call from an unknown person, we can find out his or her identity through the True Caller app. And the person’s name as saved by him or her will appear in the True Caller of our mobile.
These days, some people are saving their personal numbers with funny names so as to hide their identity so that a person who receives calls from them would not be able to know them from True Caller who the caller is.
The other day, a person received a call from one unknown number, which he could not lift it immediately. When he checked the True Caller later, he was shocked to find the name of the caller. It was: “VVIP PM Level.”
Apparently, the caller got his mobile number in the name of “VVIP PM Level,” only to impress upon the others that he is a very influential person having contacts at the Prime Minister’s level in New Delhi.
When the person cross-checked the caller’s number through other sources, he came to know that the caller was a television personality, who had been on bail after being arrested in a case under SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act last year.
Apparently, he had been moving closely with influential people, including MPs, in New Delhi and got his mobile number with such a funny name so as to hide his actual identity!
