Rs 10 Cr For Listening To Cow Story From Modi!

Rs 10 Cr For Listening To Cow Story From Modi!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made his maiden visit to Telangana on Sunday to inaugurate Mission Bhagiratha, the flagship programme of the Telangana government.

He patted the back of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and the latter made all the efforts to get into Modi’s good books.

According to estimates, the state government had spent nearly Rs 10 crore to make arrangements for the visit of Modi, including the expenditure for mobilisation of crowds to Gajwel public meeting, unprecedented police bandobust; and the arrangements at the public meeting venue.

“But, the Prime Minister did not announce a single new project to Telangana. He did not even announce national project status to Kaleshwaram or Medigadda projects, which was originally called Pranahita-Chevella, supposed to be a national project. What he inaugurated the same old water grid scheme which had already been taken up by the previous Congress government,” said PCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy.

He ridiculed that what Modi told the people was just a cow story – importance of cows, their utility in agriculture and how some anti-social elements are creating unrest in the country in the name of cow protection.

“Was it necessary to spend Rs 10 crore, just to listen cow story from Modi?” he asked.
