Firebrand actress-turned-YSR Congress party MLA from Nagari R K Roja seems to be nurturing high political ambitions and is dreaming of making it big in power.
She disclosed her mind while chatting with media the other day. She said YSR Congress party is going to power in the next elections for sure and her boss Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is going to become the chief minister.
“I am ready to accept whatever post Jagananna offers me,” she said.
At the same time, Roja said she would be happy if she was offered the home portfolio in Jagan cabinet.
“If I get the chance of becoming the home minister, I can effectively handle the law and order and also prevent atrocities on women,” she said.
It clearly shows Roja wants to become No. 2 in Jagan cabinet, if YSRC comes to power, as the home portfolio is generally handled by No. 2 leader in the government.
This is a little overambitious, as Roja has first to win her election and then think of becoming a minister, let alone a home minister.
But it appears she wants to reserve her position well in advance, so that Jagan cannot say no later!
