The recent encounter of SIMI operatives in Nalgonda along with the encounter of Viqaruddin and his associates has earned Sharma, laurels from KCR and the Center.
These recent incidents have made him a strong contender now for the top post.
On the other hand, AK Khan is not sitting idle either. He is currently the head of ACB, Telangana.
Since he has taken over, Khan has reportedly been on an arresting spree with some top names in corruption falling in his net.
These guys are vigorously trying to embellish their resumes for the top post.
But the Center might still go with Anurag Sharma as nothing strikes a chord like an encounter!
