There is one public representative in Telangana, who gets more importance than a Cabinet minister. He is Vemula Prashant Reddy, vice-chairman of Mission Bhagiratha.
Even chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao gives him a lot of importance, much more than a minister.
In fact, KCR is learnt to have told the district collectors at the just-concluded Collectors’ Conference that Prashant Reddy should get all the importance of a Cabinet minister. Such is the importance being given to Prashant Reddy that he was invited even to the Cabinet meeting and also the Collectors’ Conference.
Prashant Reddy represents Balkonda assembly constituency in Nizamabad district. Apparently, he is being given the prominence, thanks to the support he has got from local MP K Kavitha.
Since Mission Bhagiratha is a prestigious scheme involving crores of rupees, Kavitha and KCR would not have found a more loyalist than Prashant Reddy.
No wonder, he has come into the inner circle of KCR!
