Power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan is one of the mostly widely followed actors and political leaders in the social media. He has a huge fan network with nearly two million people following him regularly.
No person of that kind of popularity will remain silent for a long time, since interacting with followers on social media gives him a lot of encouragement.
Moreover, Pawan is known for his sharp reactions on any issue of public concern and moreover, many of his tweets have become controversial at the national level.
Such a popular leader like Pawan has gone completely silent on his highly-followed social media – twitter. It has been nearly a month since the power star reacted on any issue.
The last tweet of Pawan was on June 3, when he wished all the best to Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president N Raghuveera Reddy who held a big meeting at Guntur demanding special category status to AP and the meeting was attended by Rahul Gandhi.
In that tweet, Pawan said he would support anybody who demands special category status to AP but expressed his inability to attend the Rahul meeting due to short notice.
Subsequently, the twitter has gone silent. After that, there were several issues that rocked the state, especially Visakhapatnam land scam, Secretariat water leakage, attacks on Dalits at Garagaparru, selection of Ramnath Kovind as Presidential candidate of NDA and protests against rolling out of Goods and Services Tax. But Pawan has not reacted on any of these issues.
It made people wonder why the Jana Sena chief was not talking on them, leave alone organising protest rallies or meetings. Well, we need an answer, Mr Pawan!
