Please Use Me KCR Garu, Requests Mothkupalli

When he was in the Telugu Desam Party in the combined state of Andhra Pradesh, former minister Mothkupalli Narasimhulu was a firebrand leader and a virtual monarch in his Alair assembly constituency.

But after the bifurcation, the TDP itself has become a virtual non-entity in Telangana and Mothkupalli has turned from tiger to cat.

Had he continued in the TDP, he would have at least got some recognition and even a party ticket from Alair under Mahakootami in the ensuing elections. But because of his loose tongue and loud mouth comments, he was expelled from the TDP.

Now, Mothkupalli has nowhere to go. Despite his praises on Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he did not get any invitation from the TRS.

He cannot join the Congress which he had been opposing right from the beginning. Neither the BJP nor Jana Sena Party showed any interest to take him.

As a result, Mothkupalli is forced to contest as an independent from Alair. But he knows he cannot win the elections without a party background.

So, he expressed his helplessness at a meeting held at Yadagirigutta on Friday and made a desperate request to TRS president to take him into the party.

“KCR garu, I have no personal rivalry with you. I differed with you in the past only because I was in the other party. TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu had used me politically and suppressed my career. I request KCR to use my services. I can ensure that I can get all the 12 TRS MLAs in the combined Nalgonda district elected to the assembly,” he said.

It clearly showed how frustrated Mothkupalli is for being isolated by all parties. Since KCR has already declared the party candidate for Alair constituency, it is impossible for Mothkupalli to get the TRS ticket.

At the most, if KCR shows mercy on him, he can expect an MLC seat or a corporation chairman post in the coming days!
