It looks like actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has decided to take so-called “yellow” media channels head-on and expose their malicious intentions to defame him.
On Saturday, TV9 promoter and venture capitalist Srini Raju served a legal notice through his advocate T Sunil Reddy on Pawan Kalyan, asking the latter to delete the tweets on him and apologise.
In the notice, Srini said he had nothing to do with the daily functioning of TV9 and in fact, he was almost on the exist route from the channel. Attributing political motives to him was not appropriate, he said.
ABN-Andhra Jyothy channel MD V Radhakrishna also slapped a notice on Pawan Kalyan, asking him to apologise failing which he would be liable for criminal and civil defamation.
But Pawan did not succumb to any of these threats. He tweeted again in the afternoon: “Srini Raju, your legal letter doesn’t make any difference after you got my mother abused repeatedly with the guidance of #Real AgnyathavasiRaviPrakash… colluding with your political bosses who blessed you with Sri City. Good luck, Srini..
He also made another tweet.
“#SriniRaju@tv9, show this video to your mother, wife and daughter and kindly convey the achievement of your TV9, check how you increase your family wealth,” he said, attaching the video clip of Sri Reddy’s ugly comment.
On Radhakrishna’s notice, too, Pawan reacted in the same way.
“Open heart with RK, I am enclosing a video of how your TDP dream team (who initiated and promoted the campaign #abusePawanKalyanmother, which you are a member). Please show it to Lokesh, friends, CM, and the women of your household and why don’t you take their opinion of their and telecast?”
