Payyavula Kesav Upset With Naidu!

Telugu Desam Party MLC from Anantapur Payyavula Kesav is an angry man these days. Having played a very crucial role in the party in Seemandhra in the past, like party legislator from Telangana A Revanth Reddy, Kesav feels like fish out of water in the party now.

Though he had lost the Assembly elections from Uravakonda in 2014, party president N Chandrababu Naidu acknowledged his service to the party by making him MLC. Yet, it did not bring any cheers to him.

According to party sources, Kesav feels completely neglected in the party and also in his own district Anantapur. With the entire party cadre going around Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna, there is virtually none to pay attention to Kesav.

Sources said Kesav has strongly lobbied for a Cabinet berth. He is of the view that he would control the party in the entire district if he is given the Cabinet berth.

But, Naidu rejected him on the ground that he cannot accommodate two Kammas from the same district (the other one being Paritala Sunitha). It is learnt Balakrishna had created hurdles in Kesav’s growth in the district.

So, for the time being, a terribly upset Kesav has virtually gone into political oblivion. He has not been taking much interest in party activities in Anantapur.

He is said to be keeping away even from the Lepakhi festivities being organised by Balayya. Looks like he has some serious plans to safeguard his future.
