Pawan Wakes Up Again, Attacks Centre!

Power star and Jana Sena Party Pawan Kalyan had been in a virtual slumber for the last few weeks. Perhaps, he was yet come out of the Katamarayudu hangover.

Notwithstanding the criticism from his detractors, Pawan did not even utter a word on the alleged violation of the Constitution by Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in inducting four YSR Congress party MLAs into his cabinet.

But on Friday night, Pawan suddenly woke up from his “yoga nidra” and started lashing out at the Bharatiya Janata Party using his routine medium – twitter. He was reacting to former BJP parliamentarian Tarun Vijay's controversial remarks about South Indian people.

In his angry reaction to Vijay's statement, Pawan said it clearly reflected North India's bias against South India. He reminded that it was a great man from South India who designed the national flag. The actor-politician said such prejudice will divide the nation.

"Is it not an insult which can be forgotten with an apology," he tweeted in Telugu an obvious reference to the apology by the BJP leader. Pawan went on to remark 'it's our misfortune that persons having such feelings and the parties which accommodate them are there at the national level'.

"You need revenue from black people of South India but you look down upon them," he said. “If you don’t like black, then ban even a cuckoo,” he commented.

Pawan, who has been speaking about the bias towards South India for last couple of months, uploaded on his twitter page an article about the national politics being unfair to the region despite the latter's huge contribution to the national economy.
