Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has once again created history on Tuesday by inaugurating Pattiseema project for the fourth time.
The water from Godavari river passed through the Pattiseema canal and joined the Krishna river at Prakasam barrage a couple of days ago itself. Some of the dailies have even carried the photographs of the Godavari water entering Krishna river. And Naidu thought it is a big event to garner publicity.
And the officials on Tuesday organised a function at Prakasam barrage, where Naidu formally performed ‘pooja” to the Krishna-Godavari Sangamam and dedicated the project to nation again!
Needless to say, the government spent lakhs of rupees for the function and securing publicity for Naidu. This is the fourth time that the Pattiseema project was “launched” by Naidu and his ministers.
Naidu used the occasion perfectly to blow his own trumpet and attack the Opposition party.
“My father-in-law N T Rama Rao never used to give up till he completed the task. I am also a man of strong will. I will not sleep till I complete the project that I take up,” he claimed.
