Jana Sena Party chief and power star Pawan Kalyan will not take out any yatra on his Vaarahi at least till December, as he is tied up with his tight shooting schedule till then.
According to sources close to him, Pawan Kalyan has decided against shuttling between his shooting spots and political tours, as he won’t be able to justice to either of them. So, he wants to finish off his films first before becoming busy with his political activity from January.
At present, four films are lined up for production, requiring his immediate presence – Harihara Veera Mallu, OG, Ustad Bhagat Singh and Untitled film of Surender Reddy.
While shooting of Harihara Veera Mallu has come to a halt, the untitled film is yet to start and the other two films are on sets.
Apparently, Pawan asked the film makers to finish off the shooting of his part for the films, as he won’t be able to dedicate his time for them later.
On the other hand, the Jana Sena Party chief’s political schedule has also landed in jeopardy, as there is uncertainty over the alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Telugu Desam Party.
So far, he has not commenced any talks on seat sharing or alliances with the two parties, forget about the selection of candidates. There have been no party programmes as such to sustain the party’s political activity.
The Vaarahi Yatra of Pawan Kalyan which at Annavaram in East Godavari on June 14, evoked a lot of euphoria in the fans and cadre.
He toured several areas in the district through the Janavani programme and accepted grievances from the locals. He took out road shows and addressed public meetings, targeting the ruling YSRC.
Pawan Kalyan’s road shows and public meetings created a hype in Godavari districts as sizeable numbers cheered him and urged him on while he frequently used film-style dialogues.
Later, he went on a foreign tour to take a break and has not resumed his political activity since then, except an occasional statement agaisnt the government. Now, he will be taking off for completing his film schedules.
But the abrupt stoppage of Varaahi Yatra will result in the Jana Sena losing its steam, as the elections are fast approaching.
One wonders what he will do if the elections are advanced in Andhra Pradesh, as there is hardly any time left for him!
