The Governor posts these days have become a big headache for leaders. Whenever there is a change in government, the Governors feel a lot of embarrassment, since they are forced to enter into confrontation with the chief ministers.
Especially in the states ruled by the parties that are opposite to the ruling party at the centre, the Governors are under constant pressure, since they have to regularly carry reports to the Centre against their respective governments.
We are watching how the Governors in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Karnataka are struggling to deal with their state governments.
However, Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana E S L Narasimhan is considered to be the luckiest person compared to other Governors.
In the past, Narasimhan too used to bear the brunt of local parties as he was strongly opposing the Telangana movement and used to carry reports against the same.
Things have changed after the state got bifurcated into Telangana and AP. He has become the most favourite Governor for both the governments and he is playing effective role in resolving issues between the two states.
He enjoys the love and affection of both the chief ministers, which was evident from the way they showered their respect to him on his birthday a couple of days ago. He was flooded with gifts and flowers and they even touched his feet to show their love.
And so, perhaps, Narasimhan is the only Governor who has smooth relations with both the states!
