Naidu's Publicity Craze Has Gone To Peak!

It looks like Andhra Pradesh chief minister and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu has not given up his penchant for publicity, even after drawing a lot of criticism from all sections of people.

Everybody knows it was Naidu’s craze for publicity that led to the disaster on the first day of Godavari Pushkarams at Rajahmundry in which 27 innocent people died in stampede.

Naidu held up over two lakh crowd at the ghat for over two hours, as his publicity team was shooting an advertisement film on him amidst the people.

With the national channels and other media taking him to task and holding him responsible for the tragedy, he should have learnt a lesson and keep away from all sorts of publicity.

But Naidu does not have any regrets. He believes that he can fool around the people with his publicity blitzkrieg.

Apparently realizing that nobody is acknowledging his good work for Pushkarams, he brought a contingent of media persons from New Delhi by spending huge amounts and took them around the Pushkar ghats in Rajahmundry.

He “treated” them well so that they would give him a lot of positive publicity. His publicity managers also provided them required clippings on Pushkarams so that they could do special stories with focus on Naidu.

But, what would he gain? Does he get back his lost image among the people? Do they go by the national media reports?
