Naidu Wants To Neutralise Jagan Effect!

The tremendous response from the people to YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s padayatra, which entered Rajahmundry in East Godavari district on Tuesday, has certainly caused tremors in the Telugu Desam Party, if not for the Rajahmundry road-cum-rail bridge.

Both the East and West Godavari districts proved to be the strongholds of the TDP in 2014 but after Jagan’s padayatra, the situation has changed a lot in favour of the YSRC. So, Naidu has to do counter-strategies to neutralise the Jagan effect.

So, the TDP chief is now planning his next public meeting at Rajahmundry, soon after Jagan leaves the place.

He announced that his third “Dharma Porata Deeksha,” exposing the betrayal by the Centre and demanding special category status to Andhra Pradesh, will be held at Rajahmundry on the banks of river Godavari this month end. The first meeting was held in Tirupati and the second one in Visakhapatnam.

Apparently, Naidu wants to divert the attention of the people of Rajahmundry from Jagan’s yatra by holding his deeksha in the town.

He would attack the Bharatiya Janata Party as usual, but would also expose how the BJP is firing at the TDP by putting the gun on Jagan’s shoulders.

Naidu is planning to conduct one such meeting in all the 13 districts before the elections, with the last one scheduled to be held in Amaravati.

He will pick up the venues depending on Jagan’s movements and the public response to his rallies.
