If farmers across AP thought that it was only their brethren from the new capital region that were in trouble and that their own lands were safe, they better think again!
At a cabinet meeting yesterday, Chandrababu Naidu instructed the Ministers to identify and be ready with the acquisition of 1 lakh acres of land in their respective districts for setting up industries.
That means another 13 lakh acres of land in Seemandhra. Can this land be acquired without disturbing the farmers again? Highly unlikely!
Chandrababu also complimented the ministers and officials in charge of the Thulluru region for their efforts in acquiring land from the farmers.
He also thanked the farmers for giving up their lands as if the latter had any choice. 13 lakh acres? Phew!!! When will this madness stop?
