An interesting news report that appeared in all newspapers on Tuesday has revealed an interesting fact that opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh have been saying all these days.
The report says Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandababu Naidu is the richest of all the CMs in the country. The report is based on an analysis done by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR).
Though the Opposition leaders allege that Naidu is worth thousands of crores, the ADR report says he is still the richest CM with declared assets worth over Rs 177 crore.
He is followed by Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prema Khandu with Rs 129 crore and Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh was owned Rs Rs 48 crore.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao occupied fifth position with Rs 15 crore assets. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has been declared poorest CM having only Rs 26 lakh assets.
Naidu’s value of assets analysed by ADR is much higher than the value declared by his son Lokesh in December 2017.
According to Lokesh, Naidu’s gross assets are worth Rs 8.17 crore and the net worth is Rs 2.53 crore, as per the book value. His assets value which was just Rs 67 lakh, has grown by 3.77 times in one year.
So, what would Lokesh say to this new declaration?
