Naidu, Pawan Meet, But No Eye Contact!

Naidu, Pawan Meet, But No Eye Contact!

For the first time after power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan launched a tirade against Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu at his March 14 public meeting in Guntur, both the leaders have got an opportunity to meet each other.

The occasion was the “pratishtapana” (installation) of Sri Bhoo Sametha Dasavathara Venkateshwara Swamy at the newly constructed temple at Namburu village in Guntur district.

It was Pawan Kalyan who came first and participated in the festivities by offering silk clothes to the Lord.

Sometime later, Naidu also came to the temple along with his paraphernalia, including several TDP leaders, director K Raghavendra Rao and officials.

As he entered the temple complex, Pawan also joined him. Though both of them walked together into the temple, they neither shook hands nor greeted each other. They did not even exchange pleasantries with a smile, let alone doing the talk.

It appeared Naidu completely ignored the presence of Pawan, who realised it and walked past Naidu quickly towards the inner temple.

Both of them stayed in the temple till all the rituals were completed under the auspices of Ganapathi Sachidananda Swamy. They did not look at each other and quietly dispersed in their own way.

It is not exactly known when Pawan met Naidu the last time was, but the power star reportedly had a talk with Naidu at the time of release of his film Agnyathavaasi early this year.

The TDP government had given permission to Pawan for having extra screenings and also enhance the ticket rates in the first couple of weeks.  The film, however, bombed at the box office.
