Munugode poll is standing out to be the most expensive thing. There are many allegations that both the parties which are in power at the Center and the State are spending huge amounts on this.
Both BJP and TRS are mutually throwing allegations that each vote is being bought at the price of Rs 30000 to Rs 40000.
Sources say that both the parties are not hesitating to spend money on votes while Congress has been failing to withstand this money menace. Munugode election is prestigious for all three parties.
Congress is trying to retain this constituency being in the position of holding a sitting MLA. But it has no financial backup to spend like BJP and TRS. Either the party or the candidate is bold enough to spend money from Congress here.
Even if Congress stands in second position it should be considered as a victory, looking at the present situation. Congress is in the hope that the vote bank is intact with them and so no need to spend much.
