Senior Congress leader and former APSRTC chairman M Satyanarayana, who has been in political oblivion for quite some time, is back in the news as is his wont.
Known for taking potshots at his own party leaders, MSR this time shot into news by praising his once rival K Chandrasekhar Rao, Chief Minister of Telangana.
The veteran leader, who once challenged his own party president Sonia Gandhi, advised his party leaders not to make any negative comments against KCR, who had been implementing very good schemes for the benefit of people.
He praised KCR’s pet schemes such as Water Grid, Mission Kakatiya, and Grama Jyothy, saying they would certainly bring him good name. He also appreciated the TRS president for resolving power crisis without any hassles.
MSR advised his party leaders to welcome the good deeds being done by the Chief Minister, instead of criticising him like any other party leaders.
He however, exhorted KCR to control his “dookudu” (aggressiveness) and proceed by try to taking all the leaders into confidence.
Talking about Warangal by-elections, MSR said it was the decision of the people of Warangal to decide to whom to vote and hoped that they would give their judgment like people of Bihar.
Swichting over to his own party, MSR remarked that Rahul Gandhi has to wait for some more time to take the reins of the party.
