Former minister and loud-mouth Telangana Telugu Desam Party leader Mothkupalli Narasimhulu sprang a surprise on Friday, when appeared in the camp office of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Mothkupalli had a one-on-one talk with KCR for about 15 minutes. Nobody knows what transpired between the two, but it definitely evoked a lot of surprise in political circles as Mothkupalli is known for his acerbic attack on KCR in the past.
Even the TRS leaders who were present in the camp office at that time were said to be surprised to see the exchange of pleasantries between KCR and Mothkupalli.
However, it is learnt the Telangana TDP leader came to the CM’s camp office to invite KCR to the marriage of his daughter later this month.Even then, it was a surprise because Mothkupalli had never invited KCR to any function in the past.
There is no surprise if Mothkupalli decides to join the TRS, as he has apparently felt there is no future for him in the TDP. Ever since the TDP has become almost vacant in the Telangana, Mothkupalli is feeling suffocated, as the remaining Telangana TDP has been completely hijacked by Revanth Reddy.
Party supremo and AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had promised to get him accommodated as Governor of any state, but it now appears the chances are very bleak.
So, for the last few months, Mothkupalli has been maintaining stoic silence. Under these circumstances, his meeting with KCR has definitely raised several eyebrows!
