Modi Govt Exposing KCR's Shady Past!

The Narendra Modi government seems to be digging the shady past of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao during his tenure as the Union Labour Minister in the UPA cabinet.

The CBI is currently probing into the controversial decisions taken by KCR during his stint in the UPA cabinet between 2005 and 2006, especially with regard to illegal permission given for construction of ESI building by a fisheries department employee and also the exemption given to tainted Sahara Group from maintaining provident fund accounts of employees.

The reports came in handy for the Opposition parties to attack KCR, just ahead of the by-elections to Warangal Lok Sabha seat. They demanded that the Centre order a comprehensive inquiry into allocations made by KCR during his stint as Union Labor Minister.

“If the reports are true, the Telangana Chief Minister should step down and cooperate with the inquiry,” CPI national secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy said.
