Modi enquires about Telangana survey!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is understood to have made an enquiry as to why and how the intensive household survey was conducted in the Telangana State recently.

According to sources, the household survey conducted by the state Government, which kicked up a controversy, came up for discussion during the meeting of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao with the Prime Minister.

Karimnagar M P Vinod said the Prime Minister has said that the Centre would examine about the comprehensive survey conducted by TS.  

KCR reportedly explained to Modi that the survey had brought out many irregularities committed by the previous Governments.

The Chief Minister also requested the Prime Minister to participate in the World Metro Police meet to be held in Hyderabad.  

He requested the Prime Minister for according Special status for Telangana state, tax rebate, setting up of a  separate High Court for Andhra Pradesh, creation of Warangal – Hyderabad Industrial corridor and NTPC setting up a 4,000 MW power project in Telangana and national project status for Pranahitha-Chevella irrigation project. KCR also discussed about solar power project with the Prime Minister.
