Desperate times call for desperate measures. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Telangana PCC President has vowed not to shave his beard till Congress comes back to power in the State.
Congress won 21 seats in the 119 member Telangana Assembly in 2014 and following a spate of defections, is left with a single digit figure now.
Barring a miracle, 2019 doesn’t look promising either for the grand old party and this means the only question that remains now is: How long will Uttam’ beard grow? He could easily become a contender for a place in the Guinness Book.
