Maverick Telugu Desam Party MP from Anantapur J C Diwakar Reddy is at it again.
Known for his loose tongue, JC once again made strong abusive remarks against YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who has bene undertaking padayatra for the last eight days.
“Jagan is a tikkalodu (mental fellow). His days are numbered. That is why he has taken up the padayatra and has been making baseless criticism against TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
When the media is already highlighting the people’s issues, what is new that Jagan can learn from his padayatra,” JC said, in an informal chat with the media.
He alleged that Jagan had no love lost for Rayalaseema, as was evident from the way he remained silent when his party leaders were accusing the Naidu government of favouring Rayalaseema in release of irrigation water, without releasing water to Palnadu area of Guntur.
“Is there any meaning? How can any leader give water to the already developed area, while ignoring the drought-hit Rayalaseema,” JC asked.
The YSRC leaders reacted strongly to JC’s remarks. Party spokespersons Vaisreddy Padma and Naramalli Padmaja said the TDP MP was attacking Jagan only to win favours from Naidu.
“When the bus from the Transport company owned by JC Diwakar Reddy met with an accident earlier with human loss, there was no action and it was hushed up and now he comes up with abusive language against our leader and he should mind his language,” they said.
