Leaders Preach Amaravati, Prefer Hyderabad Life

Leaders Preach Amaravati, Prefer Hyderabad Life

Our government schools no longer meet the needs of a developing population.

Despite spending thousands of crores annually on them, even government teachers prefer private schools for their children.

These are the same teachers recruited through DSC exams. If government employees themselves lack faith in public schools, what example are ministers setting?

The government is striving to develop the Amaravati and Mangalagiri regions, inviting reputed institutions and investing heavily.

Yet, the attention of Andhra Pradesh’s leadership remains fixed on Hyderabad. Whether for a minor illness or a weekend retreat, they rush to Hyderabad.

CM Chandrababu Naidu’s family lives in Hyderabad, and his grandson studies there. Many ministers and MLAs have settled their families in the city.

Even AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has enrolled his son Shankar in a prestigious international school in Hyderabad.

If Amaravati is to grow, our leaders must lead by example. They should seek education and healthcare in Amaravati, not elsewhere.

Development requires commitment. But sadly, government officials aren’t showing it. What Pawan Kalyan or Chandrababu responds to this is a million dollar question.
