KCR is all set to start a newspaper soon which would be exclusively dedicated to bragging the achievements of the TRS Party.
Earlier, the TRS was actively supported by Namasthe Telangana, owned by CL Rajam but differences cropped up between the two and the latter joined the BJP.
Now, in the wake of growing criticism over the ‘loan waiver issues’ and other such issues, KCR finds the need for a separate and exclusive mouthpiece of his own.
Already, without support from any newspaper, he has been grilled in the Assembly by various channels on the loan issue.
As a retaliatory measure, he has clamped down on TV9 and ABN citing that these channels had insulted the Telangana Assembly. But this was also a pretext to divert people’s attention from the loan waiver issue. Insiders say that the name of ‘Bangaru Telangana’ is being considered for the new newspaper.
Whether his newspaper would usher in a Bangaru Telangana or not, KCR is surely going to emerge richer by allotting a chunk of the new government’s advertising to this newspaper.
