For the past few days, Pawan Kalyan has been looking noticeably different. He changed his hairstyle and even the style of his beard.
Soon after, a film directed by Surender Reddy was announced. Because of this, many assumed that Pawan’s makeover was specifically for that film.
But then came a twist. Pawan recently appeared at a special event where he was formally inducted into Kenjutsu, an ancient Japanese martial art.
With this, Pawan became the first Telugu person to receive an official entry into this discipline.
It is also said that he is also among the very few individuals outside Japan to receive recognition at this level.
Of course this recognition is conferred by Dr. Syed Mohammed Siddique Mehmoodi, a veteran martial arts trainer from Hyderabad's old city, but not from Japan as many assume.
At the event, Pawan Kalyan appeared in special traditional attire and was conferred with the title “Tiger of Martial Arts.”
Following this, discussions have surfaced on social media suggesting that Pawan changed his look all this while specifically for this martial arts event.
Changing his entire get-up just for a single event has certainly sparked curiosity.
However, there is still no clear answer on whether Pawan Kalyan underwent this makeover solely for the martial arts program or if he is preparing for Surender Reddy’s upcoming film.
