Anil Ravipudi proved himself as a Sankranthi director starting in 2019 with F2. He followed it up with another major success in 2020 with Sarileru Neekevvaru.
Continuing this festive streak, he delivered back-to-back Sankranthi hits in 2025 and 2026 with Sankranthiki Vastunnam and Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.
It has already been declared that he will once again collaborate with Venkatesh for the 2027 Sankranthi season. There are also strong feelers that he is interested in making a film with Nagarjuna for Sankranthi 2028.
If that plan materializes, will Anil Ravipudi attempt to create a “Sankranthi universe” by bringing back popular characters like Venky Gowda or Shankara Vara Prasad in his future films?
Such an idea has already sparked curiosity among fans. Interestingly, in an interview yesterday, Chiranjeevi expressed his wish to do a cameo in Venkatesh’s next film, further fueling speculation.
Even if the Nagarjuna project takes shape in future, Anil Ravipudi could potentially rope in Venkatesh and Chiranjeevi for cameo appearances, turning it into a perfect multi-starrer moment.
With the kind of traction his brand of family entertainers enjoys during Sankranthi, anything seems possible at this stage.
