KCR's Federal Front Plan Utter Flop?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao might be making desperate attempts to form a federal front as a third alternative to the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party, but it has already turned to be a futile attempt.

This was stated by veteran Congress leader and former Union minister S Jaipal Reddy on Saturday. He said the third front proposal was an utter flop, as there are hardly any takers for it.

“The fact is that the TRS is a tail party of the BJP. KCR’s agenda is to secretly strengthen the BJP. He will never give up the friendship with Narendra Modi, though the BJP is fast losing the confidence of the people,” he said.

He demanded that KCR should decide as to whose side his party would be.

“There is a need for all the parties to come together to pull down the Narendra Modi government. The efforts are on at the national level and all the anti-BJP parties have extended their support to the Congress,” he said.

Jaipal Reddy blamed it on the BJP for the recent stalling of the Parliamentary proceedings.

“There was an unprecedented crisis in Parliament. The BJP got the proceedings stalled with the help of its allies to deny the opportunity to the opposition parties to raise people’s issues,” he alleged.
