KCR Wasting Money To Boost His Image!

KCR Wasting Money To Boost His Image!

Telangana Rashtra Samith president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is said to be expert in diverting the attention of people from key issue by putting up big shows whenever he senses that there is a growing resentment among the people.

The latest in his attention-diversion strategies is the World Telugu Conference on a large scale by spending over Rs 50 crore, at a time when there was a large scale resentment among the youth demanding filling up of vacant jobs.

Naturally, his critics are exposing the timing of the conduct of World Telugu Conference. They say the Conference had nothing to do with the promotion of Telugu language.

The entire administration has come to a grinding halt and entire government staff was focussed on event management.

Congress leader D Sravan said after KCR took over as Chief Minister, over 4,000 farmers committed suicide while several jobless youth ended their lives.

Even those who actively participated in the statehood movement did not get any benefit from the new State. In this scenario, holding an event in the name of Telugu was highly condemnable.

He said even 'Telugu Talli' would be pained at the conditions prevailing in Telangana State.

First of all, there has been a controversy over Andhra Telugu and Telangana Telugu.

At the peak of the Telangana movement, KCR himself was attacking the Andhra Telugu, stating that it was a hybrid language with no originality and only Telangana Telugu is authentic.

He was even ridiculing the concept of "Telugu Talli" and even proposed demolition of its statues in Telangana.

KCR openly insulted Telugu Talli on multiple occasions and had claimed there Telugu Talli had nothing to do with Telangana.

He had asked why 'Telugu Talli' was not getting tears in her eyes when no water was being released to Telangana from Nagarjuna Sagar's left canal and why Telugu Talli was silent over suicide of 3,000 people for statehood cause.

Further, KCR had even compared vegetables from both the regions and had claimed that they were different.

In fact, KCR given a call to boycott World Telugu Conference in 2012 stating that it was against Telangana culture.

Now, the same gentleman is inviting the same old people for the present conference in Hyderabad.
