Former home minister and senior Congress leader K Jana Reddy denied several times in the past the rumours that he would be joining the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, as was indicated by his soft approach towards the ruling party in the assembly.
Yet, the talk about the entry of Telagnana Congress legislature party leader into the TRS has not abated.
Even TRS legislator Rasamayi Balakishan predicted that Jana Reddy would join the TRS sooner or later and the Congress would become a desert six months before the 2019 elections.
Even the other Telangana Congress MLAs have expressed apprehensions several times in the past that Jana might join the TRS; if not he, his son would sport the pink khanduwa one day or the other.
They even lodged a complaint with AICC in-charge of Telangana affairs Digvijay Singh, when the latter came to Hyderabad recently.
They complained that Jana Reddy was diluting the entire spirit of the Congress with his pro-TRS lectures in the assembly.
“Instead of ripping apart the ruling party, Jana mostly confines to praising the TRS leadership and even he makes criticism, it is too mild,” they said.
