KCR Cutting Down Beneficiaries!

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi government is trying to cut short the beneficiaries of welfare schemes like ration cards, housing, pensions and others to reduce the financial burden on the exchequer.

This was pointed out by senior Telangana Congress leader T Jeevan Reddy.

He charged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who came to power with promises that cannot be implemented is now changing tack.

So far, about 10 lakh ration cards removed and genuine card holders should suffer a loss, he said. How the TRS Government will do justice to poor people if it reduces the number of ration cards, he asked.

Jeevan Reddy sought that the Government give fees reimbursement to all students. No single student should suffer a loss of fees if the government is committed he said and suggested to extend time if necessary.

If the government cuts short the genuine beneficiaries then it has to face the music he warned.

The people are pinning hopes on the TRS Government will get Pensions, housing facility besides as it was promised by KCR. There is a need for keeping all other promises made, he said.
