The recent Kamma-Kapu clash in Dallas on the new year event led to the arrest of one by name KC Chekuri who is a TDP fanatic.
Many came to the conclusion that he was taken into custody on the grounds of misdemeanor.
But the Judicial Information and the Arraignment Sheet released by the Magistrate of Dallas County reveals that he was arrested on 1st of January 2023 for the offence of Stalking that he committed on 27th December 2021.
Then why wasn't he arrested for almost a year after the offence? What 'Stalking' he committed in the first place?
The details of this Offence are not clear and they were coded in the Judicial Information.
Arraignment Sheet concludes that he was kept on Community Supervision (Probation) on a surety of US$25,000.
The 195th Judicial District Court ordered him to comply with the Bond Conditions like appearing in court for all scheduled court settings, not to use illicit drugs and consume alcohol etc.
It is also mentioned that failing to comply with the conditions would be subject to forfeiture and incarceration.
The Magistrate's Admonishment also revealed that KC Chekuri is an Indian Citizen who DID NOT wish notice of this arrest be sent to the consular officials of his country. The court classified his crime as a 3rd Degree Felony.
Now the question is what 'Stalking' did he commit in Dec 2021 and how managed to escape the arrest all these months.
