Controversial film critic Kathi Mahesh is going a little overboard in taking on actor and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan just for the sake of being in the news, if his latest comments and challenges are any indication.
No doubt, Pawan’s so-called fans have been making ugly and vulgar comments against Kathi Mahesh, but the latter, being an educated person with some dignity in the society, should have ignored them. Instead, he has started directly attacking Pawan and attributing motives to him.
To be fair to Pawan Kalyan, he has not come out with any direct attack or criticism of Kathi Mahesh but reacted through his tweets indirectly.
On Saturday, Pawan came out with a tweet: “People who cannot defeat you in personality talk about your caste, money and colour.
Don’t know who said it but a respectable and senior journalist greeted me today morning with the above quote. Felt like sharing. Good day!”
Nowhere this tweet has any reference to Kathi Mahesh, but within an hour, he came out with a counter attack, saying it was Pawan Kalyan’s fans who were taking about caste, colour and money.
“My personality is 100 times better than that of Pawan Kalyan and his girlfriend,” he tweeted.
Obviously, he was referred to actress Poonam Kaur, who took pot shots at the former for targeting the power star of whom she is a big fan.
Without naming Kathi Mahesh, she said beggars are better than people who are making money out of criticising others, “Okeyy suthi, change the man or the topic, I am bored 2c the same fatso!” she said.
She went on to say: “Employment problems…papam…contribute trps. it’s a way of donating guys4 some1s ill health actually should pay4 weight reduction programme..” and a couple of other comments.
As usual, the electronic media ran after Kathi to seek his comments. And he took the opportunity to thrown an open challenge to Pawn and Poonam.
“Tomorrow at 11 am, I will be at Press Club, Somajiguda to face you. If you are dare enough, come and confront me in the open.”
He knows Pawan won’t come there, because it is too silly for him to react on such challenges. But Kathi Mahesh would be there at Press Club with all the channel persons around to garner enough publicity!
