Nominating Vijay Sai Reddy to the Rajya Sabha, Jagan said Vijay Sai was a loyal person who stood by him through thick and thin.
He said Vijay Sai was being sent to the Rajya Sabha therefore as he proved to be a trusted lieutenant.
Many wondered at Jagan mentioning this as the reason behind Vijay Sai's nomination. But indirectly, he was sending a message to his Party men and MLAs that those who stayed loyal to the YSRCP would be suitably rewarded when the time comes.
Jyothula Nehru had recently jumped to TDP after being denied PAC head post. Similarly, many MLAs have joined TDP recently from the YSRCP. Therefore, using the nomination of Vijay Sai Reddy, Jagan may have indirectly sent a message to his MLAs.
