Jagan To Take Off From Where Naidu Left!

Even as Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu made every attempt to attract people of Kurnool by holding a big public meeting to inaugurate the Muchchumarri project, his bete noire YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has decided to take on the TDP from the same district.

According to party sources, Jagan will undertake Rythu Bharosa Yatra in Kurnool district from January 4 to console the family members of the farmers who committed suicide due to indebtedness and to highlight the anti-people policies of the Naidu government.

The Yatra would go on in the district for five to six days during which he would lend a patient hearing to the grievances of the farmers besides consoling the bereaved family members of those farmers who committed suicides.

Jagan is going to highlight the fact that the government policies have been of no use to the farmers during its three year tenure starting from going back on the waiver of farm loans, non-release of input subsidy besides taking effective steps to mitigate the severe drought conditions in parts of the state.
