YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy seems to have some fascination towards Bay of Bengal, because he wants all his rivals to be dumped into this sea.
During the 2014 general elections, dumping rivals into Bay of Bengal was Jagan’s favourite slogan.
He used to call upon the people to dump the Telugu Desam Party and the Congress into Bay of Bengal, as they were responsible for bifurcation of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. But the people did not follow his call and instead, dumped YSRC to elect the TDP.
This time, Jagan is using the same slogan in the Warangal by-elections. Upping the ante against the ruling party for failing to check the unabated suicides in Telangana State, the YSR Congress Party president appealed to the voters to dump the TRS into Bay of Bengal for ignoring steps to prevent farmers from ending their lives and failing in various sectors. He criticized the ruling party for failing on loan waiver promise.
At a poll campaign for YCP’s Surya Prakash on the final day of Thursday, Jagan Reddy lashed at the TRS Government for first time.
He made a vitriolic attack on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for causing by-poll. KCR should tell us why forced the people face the byepoll, he said.
Warangal district alone witnessed 150 suicides so far and the people should not vote for the TRS candidate P Dayakar, Jagan Reddy said. He also said that the people should dump the TRS party into the Bay of Bengal as the TRS Government failed to keep the promises, he exhorted.
