Jagan Dares Naidu And Yellow Media!

Jagan Dares Naidu And Yellow Media!

Taking strong exception to the charges levelled against him in connection with the so-called expose of his foreign bank dealings by Panama Papers, YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday dared Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu to prove the allegations or quit from the CM post.

Jagan told a gathering of people during the padayatra on the third day, Jagan said Naidu and the yellow media supporting him were making baseless allegations stating that his name had figured in the Paradise Papers expose.

"For the past two days, these media has been actively propagating that I have stashed away money in foreign countries. I do not have any money in foreign countries and I give 15 days’ time to prove the charges. If the charges are proved, I will quit politics and if he fails Chandrababu Naidu should resign from the Chief Minister post,” he said.

“I set 15-day deadline for the Chief Minister to prove the charges, failing which he should quit the post. Such things pop up and is always timed whenever I undertake a major event like this Praja Sankalpa Yatra,” he said.

He wondered if he really had so much cash, how his party had lost the Nandyal by-elections.

“It is a known fact that money and muscle power has played a vital role in the by-election. Chandrababu Naidu has been known for his horse trading and using money for political ends. He has purchased MLAs from the Opposition paying huge amounts and even went to the extent of given cabinet berths to four of them,” Jagan alleged.
