YSR Congress Party president and Leader of the Opposition in Andhra Pradesh assembly Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday completed 1000 km marathon walk as part of his 'Praja Sankalpa Yatra'.
To mark the historic milestone, Jagan unveiled the plaque at Sydapuram in Guduru constituency in Nellore district on his 74th day of the padayatra. Hundreds of people rained flowers on Jagan on completing 1000 km mark.
On this occasion, the party rank and file organised “Walk with Jagananna” rallies across the state to extend their solidarity with leader and wish him all success in the future yatra.
Jagan has been walking through the villages and hamlets and attracting huge crowds during the yatra.
He kickstarted Praja Sankalpa Yatra at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district on November 6 and toured Kadapa, Kurnool, Anantapur , Chittoor and Nellore districts, so far.
The 74th day of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra commenced from the outskirts of Guduru at 8 am, on Monday.
Jagan will lead the yatra through Goginenipuram, Chennuru, Venkatagiri Cross and Saidapuram.
