For many years, Mahesh Babu has been gracing the events of movies done by his brother-in-law Sudhir Babu. This is perfectly understandable.
But of late, he is seen at the audio launches of many other films too with ‘Kshanam’ being the latest. PVP, 14 Reels and other producers have successfully roped in Mahesh for the functions of their movies.
Fans of Mahesh are worried that such frequent appearances might dilute his popularity. But they are mistaken.
For one, Mahesh tries to help out his colleagues from the industry in whatever way he can. Second, such appearances contrary to perception actually increase the popularity of a person.
When Nagarjuna decided to do ‘Meelo Evaru Koteesvarudu’ everyone said it would affect his brand equity and would be seen as a sort of demotion from big screen to small screen. But the show has actually resulted in a huge surge in his brand value on the big screen too.
By the way, Mahesh Babu will be attending the audio launch of another film called ‘Sri Sri’ which has his father Krishna in a major role.
