Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who generally doesn't care anybody irrespective of their stature, seems to be disturbed a lot with the revolt from Telangana Joint Action Committee convenor Prof M Kodandaram.
That the TRS president was scared of Kodandaram was evident from the way Namasthe Telangana, the mouth piece of TRS, dedicated two pages only to carry the statements of ministers and other TRS leaders attacking the TJAC and its president. Even on the social networking sites, the pro-KCR forces went on rampage, running down Kodandaram.
This is in a way a success for the TJAC, as most of the minsters who issued statements against Kodandaram had never participated in the Telangana agitation – whether it was Tummala Nageshwar Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav or Kadiam Srihari. In fact, many TRS leaders who are enjoying benefits now were playing to the tunes of the TDP and pro-Andhra forces then.
So, naturally, Kodandaram is getting a lot of sympathy from people in social networking sites and outside.
“He may not be right in his approach, but what is wrong in his comments against the government. Anybody can criticise the government. Why should ministers react so wildly and resort to character assassination?” a netizen asked.
