D.Srinivas, who was a heavyweight in Congress, served as PCC chief twice and brought Congress to power in Undivided AP on both the occasions, is nowhere to be seen after he joined TRS.
TRS party sources say DS, as he is popularly known, is very upset at the TRS party leadership for sidelining him after promising him moon and the stars when he quit Congress, the party which he remained loyal to for several decades and due to which he earned name, fame and money for himself and his family.
TRS supremo and CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has appointed DS as 'special advisor to Telangana government on inter-state affairs' with cabinet rank soon after he joined TRS few months ago.
However, when AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu recently visited KCR's camp office in Begumpet to invite him for Amaravathi, only TS deputy CM Mohd Mahmood Ali and power minister G Jagadish Reddy were seen along with KCR and DS was missing.
Insiders say DS was deeply hurt at KCR not calling him to his camp office when Naidu visited since as advisor of inter-stata affairs, he should be present on the occasion since it relates to 'inter-state affairs', the subject dealt by him.
DS was reportedly more angry at KCR asking Mohd Mahmood Ali and Jagadish Reddy to be beside him when Naidu comes to his camp office.
However, DS expected that KCR will take him to Amaravathi along with him in the helicopter, which too did not happen with KCR quietly ignoring him again.
Sources said DS has been maintaining a complete distance from TRS leaders and party activities since Amaravathi episode and started repenting over quitting Congress and joining TRS, which runs as a 'one-man show', unlike Congress, which he feels is a 'democratic' wherein anyone can talk about anyone or anything freely without any fear.
