It is a known fact that Andhra Jyothy is an out-and-out pamphlet of Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. It never loses any opportunity to praise Naidu and promote his Telugu Desam Party and the government.
But there is a limit to this sycophancy, since Andhra Jyothy is, all said and done, a newspaper which has to convey news to the people. If the sycophancy exceeds its limits, it creates some sort of aversion among the readers.
On Tuesday, AJ carried the story: “Budi Budi Nadakala Manavaditho..” which highlights how Naidu spent his time with his grandson Devansh when he came to Hyderabad on Sunday.
He had a morning walk with his grandson on Monday morning in the lounge of Park Hyatt hotel where he has taken an apartment on rent.
“Every grandfather does it with his grandson. What is so great about Naidu spending time with Devansh? How can this normal activity be highlighted in the media?” was the comment a journalist posted in social media.
The story wants to highlight the point that Naidu is so busy with serving the people of the state that he has no time even to play with his grandson and so, when he has the morning walk with Devansh and wife Bhuvaneshwari, it is a big news.
And the report says after spending some time with the grandson, Naidu is back to his camp office at Lake View Guest to do official work!
