'If Jagan Calls Me, I Will Go'

'If Jagan Calls Me, I Will Go'

After submitting a letter personally to AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu, Araku MP Kothapalli Geeta is being questioned about her shift in loyalties.

But the Araku MP has made it clear that her visit to Babu was a courtesy call regarding the development of her constituency.

She says she will stick with Jagan and his party. However, Geeta reiterated that some local Bobbili leaders were creating trouble for her which was making it difficult to function.

She said that it was a problem faced by many women in the party and requested Jagan to consider her case and that of other women leaders who were facing similar problems.

Geeta said that self respect was very important for women and if that is hurt, it will force them to leave the party.

Geeta was quick to add that she was not considering defecting, at least for now. She also expressed hope that Jagan would call her and sort out issues concerning her. If he takes appropriate measures, she said she will continue with YSRCP.

By putting the ball in Jagan’s court, Kothapalli Geeta has indeed made a shrewd move.
