Firebrand YSR Congress party legislator from Nagari R K Roja has mastered the art of attacking the political rivals in the strongest terms.
Every time she wants to take the Telugu Desam Party leaders to task, she finds a new point to run them down.
On Thursday, Roja ripped the TDP leaders apart, particularly their general secretary and Andhra IT minister Nara Lokesh.
She questioned what qualifications Lokesh had to be inducted into the cabinet and given the plum portfolios.
“For the sake of Lokesh, chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu sacked Peethala Sujatha, who stood No. 1 in the cabinet rankings. In what way Lokesh is better than Sujatha? Why did Naidu sack two women ministers?” she asked.
Roja said the TDP leaders were more interested in posts and positions than the people’s issues.
Pooh-poohing the resignation threats by some disgruntled TDP leaders, she wondered why they had not threatened to resign for the sake of special category status and Visakhapatnam Railway Zone.
“The existing ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao and P Narayana are more interested in making money through land pooling and leakage of question papers than in achieving special category status and railway zone,” she criticised.
