How About A Role In Films To This MP?

How About A Role In Films To This MP?

Malkajgiri MP and educationist Ch Malla Reddy, who recently jumped from the Telugu Desam Party into the Telagnana Rashtra Samithi, does not try to hide his background.

He is said to be an illiterate who used to help his father in milk-vending and later grow into a rich man establishing a number of engineering colleges and a medical college.

Because of his money power, he could get the TDP ticket in the last elections and got elected as an MP from Malkajgiri; but to protect his business interests, he took a plunge into the TRS.

But, quite often, he forgets that he is a big man and tries to behave like a street guy. He does not hesitate to speak in his typical local and mass language, whether it is a public meeting or a college function.

He does not hesitate in dancing in front of his students or common people, when it matters. Nowhere, he does not put up a show that he is an MP and a prominent academician.

And he did it again at a Haritha Haaram function in his engineering college on Tuesday, which was attended by Minister for IT and Industries K T Rama Rao.

He gave a lecture in his typical rugged style that sent the audiences, mostly his students, into laughter. And he also danced on the stage to entertain the gathering.

KTR was a little embarrassed, but could not control his smile. And when his turn came, KTR said his speech would ba pale in front of Malla Reddy. “It is like eating pappannam (dal rice) after having sumptuous biryani,” he said.

He also recommended to director Boyapati Srinu who was also present there to give a chance to Malla Reddy in his films.

“You cannot find a better actor and dancer than our MP,” he said. It is not known whether Malla Reddy got the sarcasm in KTR’s comments.
