Entire Jagan family in fray in next polls?

Entire Jagan family in fray in next polls?

If the speculations doing rounds in the YSR Congress party circles are to be believed, all the family members of party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy are likely to contest the next elections in 2019.

While Jagan and his mother Vijayalakshmi are anyway going to contest the elections – Jagan for the assembly and Vijayalakshmi for Lok Sabha, the latest talk is that even Jagan’s sister Sharmila is asking for the party ticket in the next assembly elections.

His wife, Bharati, would, however, be confined to business activities.

Sources said Jagan is contemplating fielding Vijayalakshmi in the Lok Sabha elections from one of the important constituencies of Rayalaseema.

However, Sharmila is asking for Ongole or Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency. It is learnt sitting Kadapa MP and Jagan’s cousin Y Avinash Reddy is keen on contesting the assembly elections.

What is more interesting is that Sharmila’s husband Anil Kumar is also said to be evincing interest in fighting the elections, though Jagan is unlikely to entertain his request.

Jagan’s uncle and YSR’s younger brother Y S Vivekananda Reddy also want one last chance to contest the direct elections to the assembly, but it is not sure whether Jagan would field him in the assembly elections.
