Demand Money From Chandra Babu: Jagan

In what was a rather sarcastic dig at Chandra Babu and his past involvement in 'note for vote' case, opposition leader and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made some interesting comments during a public meeting in Chirala.

Given that elections are fast approaching, Babu and his TDP leaders are gearing up to cheat the people of Andhra once again by making false promises and lure them with money, said YS Jagan.

This time, Babu will make bigger promises saying he will give 1 kg gold and a Benz car for all. However, since the voters are not gullible to lap up such assurances, he will try to buy them by giving Rs 3000 for a vote, said Jagan. But it is time the voters took advantage of his insecurity and demand Rs 5000 for a vote, urged the opposition leader.

He said the voters must reciprocate in a tit for tat manner, take money from Chandra Babu and vote as per their conscious.

He further said that corrupt politicians must be pushed into Bay of Bengal and must be taught a befitting lesson to restore accountability and honesty in the system.

"The change cannot be brought about by me single-handedly. I need your support and your blessings," he told to a rapturous crowd.

With growing impatience of Andhra people towards Chandra Babu over SCS and with pre-poll surveys hinting at the possibility of an anti-incumbency vote, Jagan appeared to be rather jubilant addressing the mass gathering in Guntur district.
