Congress Leaders Never Learn A Lesson!

Notwithstanding the humiliating defeat in the recent assembly elections in Telangana, the Congress leaders do not seem to have learnt a lesson and continue to crave for posts and positions.

The Congress had won just 19 assembly seats in the Telangana and nobody knows how many of them will remain in the party as there have been reports that some of them are looking up to joining the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

Yet, the MLAs are competing with one another to become the Congress Legislature Party leader.

The party has managed to retain the major opposition status and hence, the CLP leader can become the leader of the opposition, which is a cabinet rank post.

So, at least half a dozen MLAs are vying for the CLP leader post, including Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy, campaign committee president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and former chief whip Gandra Venkat Ramana Reddy.

Even Sangareddy MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy threw his hat into the ring saying if given an opportunity, he would like to lead the party in the assembly.

The latest to jump in the fray is Congress MLA from Munugodu Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy. He said he is quite experienced in the party, as he had held the post of Bhongir MP and MLC in the past.

He said he would work hard to strengthen the party cadre in the state if party high command gives him a chance.

Nobody can repair this party in the near future!
